With the Google Keep Chrome Extension, saving various bits from Chrome to Google Keep has never been easier. To save a snippet of text, you simply have to highlight the text, right-click the selection, and then click Save selection to Keep ( Figure D).įigure D Saving a block of text to Google Keep. If you find an image you want to save to keep, all you have to do is right-click the image and click Google Keep Chrome Extension | Save image to Keep, from the context menu ( Figure C). Your note will automatically save to keep for later usage. If you’re on a website and you want to save the URL to Google Keep, click on the Google Keep Chrome Extension icon and then, when prompted ( Figure B), enter a note for the URL or add a tag (both optional). Using this extension is incredibly simple. If you’ve already logged into your Google account through Chrome, you will not have to log into Keep or even give the app permissions…it’s ready to go.
